Coding of the Mind™ is grounded in a deep understanding of the human mind as a multidimensional, interconnected, and dynamic system, whose complexity can be meaningfully explored through four key dimensions– physical, emotional, connecting, and thinking mind (P.E.C.T.). Understanding Physical, Emotional, Connecting and Thinking Mind (P.E.C.T.)

 Physical Mind:

Vehicle of life through which human thoughts and emotions are experienced, ultimately defining the essence of life itself.

Emotional Mind:

Internal sensing system that adds meaning to life experiences, which leads to the formation of motivation and self-image.

 Connecting Mind

Awareness of the external surroundings that guides how we relate to others and build social acceptance.

Thinking Mind

Cognitive system involved in processing and storing of information, forming its own reasoning and biases, and making decisions.

 Physical Mind:

Two Modes of P.E.C.T.

Unsteady and Fragmented Mode: 

  • Insufficient or excessive energy, movement and rest.  
  • Emotional distress causing irrational actions.
  • Difficulty in understanding and accepting others or certain situations and outcome.
  • Distorted thoughts leading to disappointments or resentments.

Results: Physical and mental health issues, interpersonal difficulties, career-related obstacles, and other personal life challenges.

Balanced and Integrated Mode: 

  • Balanced physiological functions.
  • Effective management of emotions.
  • Feeling of belongings and purpose.
  • Actions guided by empathy and openness.

Coding of the Mind™ is rooted in time-tested theories of human development—such as Erikson’s biopsychosocial model, Bronfenbrenner’s ecological systems theory, and Bandura’s social learning theory. Coding of the Mind™ combines these foundations with practical tools inspired by evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Coding of the Mind™ also incorporates body movements and mindfulness derived from yoga tradition that engages the body as a powerful ally in emotional awareness, regulation, and alignment. 

These tools not only deepen self-awareness but also enhance understanding of others and the environment, empowering individuals to build stronger, more meaningful social relationships.
